Investigating - We are currently investigating an issue affecting USDC deposits on the Polygon network. As a result, some deposits may be delayed before being credited to customer accounts.

Our engineering team has identified the root cause and is actively working on a fix, which is estimated to be deployed on Monday.
Please note that customer funds remain safe. Any affected deposits will be credited automatically once the issue has been resolved. No action is required from customers.

At this time, we expect the issue to be fully resolved by the end of the day on Monday, July 6th. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

From 30 June 2026, crypto-related features in the Wirex App will no longer be available for affected users. These changes apply to the Classic Wirex App only — Wirex One remains unaffected.

To continue using crypto services, please upgrade to Wirex One.




Crypto


The following crypto-related services will no longer be available:

- Crypto deposits and withdrawals

- Crypto exchanges (crypto ↔ crypto, crypto ↔ fiat, fiat ↔ crypto)

- Card spending from crypto balances

- Linking crypto accounts to your card

- Buy Crypto with external card

- Onramper

- PIX / PEI

- Cryptoback rewards




X-Accounts


- New account creation is blocked.

- Managing existing accounts (add/withdraw funds, upgrade, downgrade, close) remains available.

- Calculations continue, but payout is credited only after upgrading to Wirex One.




Rewards (X-tras)


- Upgrades to higher plans or tiers are blocked.

- No new subscription renewals or charges after shutdown.

- Existing subscriptions stay active until the paid period ends, then downgrade to Standard Entry.

- WXT holds released on subscription expiry.

- Monthly interest stops.

- Upon upgrading to Wirex One, subscription remains according to the article.




Fiat


- SEPA in/out remains available.

- Card top-up / OCT remain available only for fiat accounts.
