A lightweight MacOS menu bar app to check your vercel deployments

Install with Homebrew
brew tap asitkhanda/toast-tap
brew trust asitkhanda/toast-tap
brew install --cask toast-app
Toast menu bar app showing Vercel deployment status for three projects

Install in three steps

Toast is not Apple-notarized yet, so macOS may warn on first launch. Follow these checkpoints — they are also printed on the DMG.

Copy to Applications

Open the downloaded DMG and drag Toast into Applications. Don’t open it from the DMG itself.

Allow Toast to open

In Applications, right-click Toast → Open → Open. That clears Gatekeeper in one step on most Macs.

Fallback: double-click once (expect a warning), then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

Connect Vercel

Paste a read-only, team-scoped Vercel token, pick projects to watch, and optionally enable notifications and Launch at Login.

Need the steps again later? Open How to Open Toast.txt on the DMG.
