ABOUT TOMMY G & THE EXPERTS
Tommy G & The Experts is an Americana band led by Minnesota songwriter and producer Tom “Tommy G” Gebell. Drawing from country, heartland rock, blues and roots traditions, the music centers on songs shaped by characters, moments, and the decisions that connect them.
Gebell writes from a lifetime of paying close attention - to himself, to the people around him, and to the moments that shape real lives. His songs explore adulthood as it’s often lived: balancing family and work, carrying regret, choosing reinvention, and finding meaning in ordinary days. The writing favors detail and clarity, grounded in warmth, hard truth, and a sense of humor.
In 2026, Tommy G & The Experts released the album A Road to Somewhere along with standalone singles that continued to widen the project’s reach — from the soulful, country-leaning perspective shift of “This Smile” to the outlaw-country energy and sly humor of “Been Accused.” Recorded and produced by Gebell, the music features a seasoned group of musicians collectively known as “The Experts,” whose depth and musicianship keep the songwriting at the center.
