About your trip

"Imagine a coastal city where every rhythm, texture, and color reveals stories of resilience, creativity, and culture. Come with us on a week-long cultural deep dive into Salvador!"

Artists' Homage pays homage to Salvador's artistic legacy, which has served as the cultural blueprint for many Afro-Brazilian art forms, pop culture trends, spirituality practices, and resistance movements that shape the nation.

  • Artists' Homage features a two-day package to AFROPUNK BAHIA, a festival that embodies our love of Afro-Brazilian music and artistry.
  • We're focused on connecting local Black communities, cultural workers, entrepreneurs, and creatives with like-minded Black travelers seeking to experience their culture through their lens.

Why Artists' Homage?

Your Leader

-'Artists Homage' is a one of a kind experience led by The Cultural Blueprint's founder Kathleen 'Kat' Anaza who will accompany participants to every activity.

- Kat is the co-author of Lonely Planet's Brazil Guidebook (13th ed) and a former resident of Salvador, committed to collaborating with Afro-Brazilian communities in Northeastern Brazil.

Your Guides

Led by the souls that shape 'the culture' - Black local artists, cultural workers, and creatives - we will enjoy the AFROPUNK Bahia festival, then pay homage by diving deep into the art forms, performances, and cultural practices that make this city enigmatic.

Your Impact

We are collaborating with a Afro-Brazilian owned travel agency and supporting Black local businesses, and communities. We are prioritizing areas of Salvador that traditionally

receive less tourism.

Your Role

Dive in open-minded and receptive, ready to be connected, engage, and celebrate.

This is your moment to embrace the rhythm of Salvador and maybe even discover a new rhythm within yourself.

**The Cultural Blueprint wants you & the communities of Salvador to enjoy our impact on the city.**
