The NO FAKES Act was introduced in the US Senate today! This bill gives all Americans property rights over their voice, image, name, and likeness. It is a huge and important step forward in the fight for the ethical use of AI. #NAVAvoices

As NAVA supports the SAG-AFTRA strike, we want to help provide clarity for voice actors during this critical time. We encourage all voice actors to stay informed and united. Together, our voices are powerful! #NAVA #NAVAvoices #PowerofVoice #SAGStrike #VoiceActorsUnite

Let's keep vo dubbing human. The loss of jobs on a global scale in this field is staggering. For every US actor, there is counterpart in every other country.

Thank you for supporting the right to own your own voice. Something we are all surprised does not already exist.

Current law is full of gaps when it comes to Artificial Intelligence. @RepMariaSalazar and I introduced the bipartisan No AI FRAUD Act to protect Americans from exploitative use of AI. Under our bill, YOU own the rights to your face and voice, and can sue to protect them.

Yesterday SAG-AFTRA announced that it made a historic deal with Replica Studios. This is the first-ever agreement between the union and an AI company. The protections that SAG-AFTRA provides to actors is needed in all areas of entertainment, but especially with regards to AI.

NAVA is declaring our definitive and unwavering support of SAG-AFTRA and the Interactive Agreement Strike. It is more important than ever to fight for AI protections; we hope you will stand with voice actors in calling for fair consent, control, and compensation in video games.

To our friends and colleagues, We are at a point in history where we still have a say in the future of our creative industry. If we spend it fighting amongst ourselves we lose. Our fellow actors, regardless of union affiliation, are not the ones against us. Those who want to

Seeing voice actors tweet role announcements with clearly AI generated art :// I’m begging voice actors to get better at identifying AI art in your projects, especially when it’s so blatantly obvious. You can’t be against AI voices but okay with AI art.

Please read. The damage to voice actors and game companies by AI and synthetic voices is real and tangible. @BethesdaStudios @ZeniMax_Online the voice actors don't have the legal ability to fight this but you can help. Thank you.

With the rise of AI voice cloning, voice actors are being abused by the modding communities. As a member of the Skyrim modding scene, I am deeply concerned at the practice of using AI voice cloning to create and distribute non-consensual deepfake pornographic content.

All voice actors (and all freelance artists actually) beware of some of these RED FLAGS when dealing with clients or unsolicited emails.

Great advice. Voice actors outside of the US, don't let your country become the dumping ground for unsafe and predatory contracts.
