In 2013, I had a 5-year-old & desperately wanted to homeschool her. My husband was a bit skeptical, & someone suggested we watch a Voddie video on education. After 30 minutes, my husband's stance on the matter had completely changed. We started homeschooling 3 months later.

I’m 42 with three daughters and I truly wish someone would have lovingly told me in my younger years to have more kids and not listen to the prevailing culture that bemoans it. They are, by far, the best thing in this word. My greatest gift, job, and treasure.

10 yrs ago we decided to homeschool. We were 2 income in SoCal. I quit and my husband got two jobs to cover. Little support. Was made fun of. It has been the best decision in 20 yrs of marriage. My children have been spared so much. Nothing is perfect but this is pretty close.

Imagine if Donald Trump had, instead of reducing out-of-pocket expenses for IVF, decided to reduce the cost of/subsidize adoption and incentivize foster care in a meaningful way.

Christian conservatives haven’t been and aren’t ready for the IVF conversation. I post my disagreement with Trump’s EO just an hour ago on IG and have been met with the most vitriolic and angry messages from fellow believers. Not to mention hundreds of ppl unfollowing my acct.

Almost 3yrs ago we walked into a small parish after we got tired of our megachurch in NoVA doing online services for 7 mo. Changed our family completely. All 4 children baptized, husband becoming a deacon, best friends made, new understanding of historical Christianity gained.

I'm sorry, but I'm just going to say the thing. If we were a proper society, these guys would not only not be allowed to adopt these children, but they would be considered mentally unfit. The craziest part is that everyone agrees but so few people are willing to admit it.

There’s just not enough voices out there telling young married couples to have a bunch of kids and not chase their careers first or wait until everything is “just right.” So here’s a word from an old lady: Have the kids. Have them now and have as many as you’re able.
