From Mike Wang:
The visual cue doesn't move around in different spots in the animation. the ideal release point is always at the same point in the animation based on the cue you choose.
The "problem" with shooting is a lot of people are just expecting to have the same success

Rhythm Shooting & the Button have the same size green window.
The only difference with the stick is the user controls the speed of the shot ( aka tempo) which is why the “default timing”for the jumpshot doesn’t matter.
The mechanic isn’t broken we just fear change…
Dear 2K community,
Button Timing & Tempo shooting have two different green conditions. The sooner we come to terms with that…the sooner we can focus on fixing blitzes in the game.
Sincerely,
A scorned Lock
I spent 6 weeks watching yal Jimmy Butler escape into my body with silver unpluckable & no consequences. Go ahead & Max + 2 that unpluckable beloved😉
#NBA2K26
Since we’re losing the plot...
1. We asked for 2K to do something about Zens even though they’re a hardware issue.
2. 2K implements a shooting system that is dynamic to help combat Zens.
3. Gives us an option to have a bigger green window
4. Implements an in game reporting
NBA 2K24 has only been out for TWO days. Allow time for everyone to get badges & upgrade their players before we ask for things to be nerfed.
Thank you
