- Today, after two years of getting more sleep, eating smaller portions, and a morning shake (from @joybowen), I’m down to 315lbs. My high, in 2002, was just under 500 lbs. Most of you met me in the low 400’s.
- In 2019, take all the risks: 1. Learn something new 2. Apply for a new job 3. Ask for a raise 4. Book that vacation 5. Break a bad habit 6. Sign up for a new course 7. Start a new side gig 8. Invite someone to mentor you 9. Help someone in need 10. Move to a new city
- I’m not against headless or against new tech stacks. But if people tell you that #WordPress is slow, maybe they just don’t know how to make it fast.
- In less than an hour, I’m getting on the phone with a client who needs a new website. I’ll be suggesting #WordPress because it’s the best solution for their needs. And I’ll recommend @Pressable for hosting because I trust them the most.

- Let me just repeat this again for everyone - you are not the hero in any presentation you give. Your job is to come alongside your audience and help them shine. They're the hero. Be Sancho Panza, not Don Quijote. (That's the Latino version of being Yoda, not Luke).
- You're not speaking at events. You're not traveling to conferences. You're not sitting face to face with prospects. Your website is now your business card. Make sure it can be found. Make sure it looks good. Make sure it's fast.
