I wish small groups were a thing.
1. Pick something you want to learn (e.g. Rust)
2. Use a learning path/course/book
3. Find 2-3 people to do it with you
4. Meet 1x/week for 1-hour to discuss and pair-program
5. Cheer each other on and finish together
