- Tonight I got t-boned by a guy running a stop sign in a residential area going 80-100 mph. The seatbelt broke my collar bone and the airbags broke my front teeth. The dashboard trapped my feet and knees in the car for 20 minutes while they ripped the top of the car off to get me.

- Replying to @kentcdoddsPlease do continue sharing and reminding people in the thread that empathy is important. This isn't about whether screen readers/twitter should be fixed. It's about what the experience of people is really like today and that by using characters like these you're harming people.
- Unless I'm teaching you JavaScript fundamentals, everything I teach will be taught with TypeScript going forward. TypeScript has won, and it's only a matter of time you're using it whether you like it or not.
