- To the thousands of people who came to the vigil at the rock tonight, thank you. We’d also like to thank the @MichStatePolice for providing security for tonight’s vigil, so our officers were able to attend and take some time to grieve. We are all healing together. #SpartanStrong
- Replying to @msupoliceUPDATE: The suspect has been located off campus. It appears he has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. There is no longer a threat to campus and the shelter-in-place has been lifted.
- UPDATE: After careful consideration and out of respect for the families, we wanted to inform the public and the media that MSU DPPS will not be confirming the names of the five victims in the hospital at this time. They all remain in critical condition.
- Replying to @msupoliceAll campus activities are canceled for 48 hours, including athletics, classes, and all campus-related activities. Please DO NOT come to campus tomorrow.
- UPDATE: @SparrowHealth has updated the conditions of the hospitalized students: • 1 student is in fair condition • 2 students are in serious condition, but stable • 1 student remains in critical condition • 1 student has been discharged home (previously serious)

- MEDIA ADVISORY: As students return to class today, we ask the media to please respect students' privacy and honor their choice on whether or not to be interviewed. We have received numerous complaints from students this morning feeling uncomfortable while walking to class.
