Our base should not have to beg @SenMcConnell and @LeaderJohnThune to pass something as critical as securing and safeguarding our elections. Period.  I can't think of anything more arrogant than ignoring the will of the people, especially when they're the ones who gave us

This was a truly shameful ruling by the High Court. The 14th Amendment was never meant to guarantee U.S. citizenship to infants of illegal immigrants or temporary visitors. Congress must make this right.

For decades, we have worked to ensure a level playing field in athletics. Today’s SCOTUS decision gives states the ability to preserve fairness and equal opportunity in women’s sports. Boys shouldn't play on girls' teams. Period.

Today’s SCOTUS decision is exactly why Congress can't sit on the sidelines. Americans deserve election laws that are clear, consistent, and worthy of the public's trust. The Senate must pass the SAVE America Act now.

Have you heard any sitting Republican senators call for Majority Leader John Thune to be removed from power? No, you have not. And that is the problem. All of them are complicit in stopping the Save America Act.

Promises made. Promises kept. A strong start matters. The U.S. GDP increased at an annual rate of 2.1% in the first quarter of 2026. I am proud to support @POTUS and his administration's commitment to economic momentum as we look ahead to the rest of the year.

Keeping more of what you earn. That's what the Working Families Tax Cuts are all about. Nearly one year ago, @POTUS signed the bill into law. It strengthens our economy by enabling families to keep more of their hard-earned money in their pockets. I was proud to support the law

Protect Every Legal Vote. The House has acted. Now it’s time for the Senate to take up the SAVE America Act and move it forward.

714 days since we first passed the SAVE Act in the House. 537 days since John Thune was chosen to serve as Senate Majority Leader. Enough waiting. The American people want this done!

"We don't have the votes" isn't a strategy. It's a white flag. If John Thune was the kind of leader he ought to be, he wouldn't just end the filibuster. He would LEAD and get his caucus on board. House Republicans have one of the slimmest majorities in history. There's almost

What a day. On @POTUS’s birthday, the world got another reminder of what strong leadership looks like: a deal to end the war, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and restore stability around the world.  This as he hosts UFC champions on the South Lawn—a fitting backdrop for a

My political hero happens to be our first president. George Washington believed in a legislature made up of everyday folks. He believed that elected officials should serve for a season and go home. I would wager that he would feel the same about bureaucrats with authority. If
