Meet Your Mentor
Dylan Sky is a record producer, multi-instrumentalist,
Grammy-nominated engineer, and founder of Unwell Records.
He got his start in the Brooklyn music scene before moving to Los
Angeles, where he spent years working as a creative engineer with
artists including Beck, Paul McCartney, Phoenix, and artists at
every level of experience.
Dylan is passionate about developing and nurturing new artists.
His goal is to help students build skills, hear themselves more
clearly, and develop a creative process that feels like home
rather than intimidating.

Courses
Courses can include basic to advanced techniques using Ableton Live,
Pro Tools, analog recording, production, recording fundamentals,
mixing concepts, sound synthesis and design, songwriting,
arrangement, creative workflow, and visual approaches to
music-related projects.
Each course is shaped around the student’s goals, taste, experience
level, and creative blocks.
