Each week, one of our interns will share their experiences, what they’ve learned, and show you why AT&T is the perfect place to start a career. Kicking things off with a member of our Marketing Excellence Program, say hello to Sarah: “Hello everyone, my name is Sarah and I’m so excited to be spending my summer at AT&T as an intern on the Brand team! I’m currently pursuing my MBA at UT Austin, where I’m focusing on brand and product marketing. Before that, I spent 5 years in the entertainment industry creating branded content and connecting with viewers. I chose AT&T because it sits at the intersection of advancement and human connection. I was particularly excited by the opportunity to learn how one of the world’s leading technology companies builds and manages a brand that plays such an important role in people’s everyday lives. My purpose over the next 10 weeks is to contribute meaningfully to projects, learn from experienced leaders, collaborate with my fellow MEPers, and build relationships that will help with my continued growth. I’ll be supporting the launch of a new platform and helping drive adoption across the organization. I’m most excited to see how AI and brand governance come together to create a more seamless experience for marketers, and how emerging tech can improve the customer experience, too. I’m super excited to have kicked off week one at AT&T. Stay tuned for more updates on how this summer helps me grow as a leader in the marketing world!”

    Leadership update: After a distinguished career, Pascal Desroches, our Chief Financial Officer, announced his plans to retire at the end of the year. He will be succeeded by Jennifer Biry as we welcome her back to AT&T.   “Pascal has been an exceptional partner and a principled leader. It was clear from our first introduction in 2017 that he was always focused on improving the business and doing it the right way,” said John Stankey, Chairman and CEO.   “His financial discipline, strategic insight, and willingness to clinically address important issues have helped strengthen our company and sharpen our focus on the opportunities ahead. While we still have work to close out over the balance of the year, I already know I will miss his daily presence and steadfast support. On behalf of the entire AT&T team, I want to thank Pascal for his trust, dedication, and many contributions and wish him, Yvette, and their family the very best in this next chapter.”   Following Jennifer’s previous 20-year career here, she served as WarnerMedia’s Chief Financial Officer and most recently as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at McAfee.   “I am delighted to welcome Jennifer back to the AT&T team and look forward to her partnership in our continued transformation and repositioning of the company as the nation’s leading high-performance networking company,” said John. “She brings great breadth and depth of knowledge of our markets, operations, and people and is an outstanding collaborator who will facilitate the necessary team execution to deliver on our long-term commitments.”   Congratulations to both Pascal and Jennifer on what’s next!

    We can’t believe it’s already over–we just celebrated the 9th Untold Stories premiere at Tribeca Festival, and it was a night to remember.   In 2025, "Take Me Home" won a $1M production prize from Tribeca's AT&T Untold Stories program, the largest production award in the world.   'Take Me Home" is an intimate and thought-provoking drama, that explores a family unit in a newly precarious position. Grounded in a magnetic performance by newcomer Anna Sargent, sister of writer-director Liz Sargent, Anna must navigate shifting family dynamics amid a system that deprioritizes her needs.   Willa plans a theatrical rollout planned for this fall, accompanied by an impact campaign in partnership with Caring Across Generations, a leading national organization working to transform the systems and culture supporting care and caregiving in the U.S, that also houses the media company Give Not Take Media.

    Last month, members of our team in California hosted a laptop distribution with CAMP FIRE INLAND SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. The event was part of our ongoing commitment to help bridge the digital divide and make fast, reliable internet available for all. Since 2021, more than 31,000 computers have been distributed to students and their families in California alone in service of our mission. We asked Dan from our External Affairs team what made being part of this event so special and so essential: “Access to reliable connectivity solutions isn’t optional. It’s foundational to education, workforce development, and economic mobility. In my role, I see firsthand how targeted investments can level the playing field and create meaningful, long-term impacts in the communities we serve. Events like these bring our mission of connect people and communities to life in a tangible way and helps ensure that connectivity translates into opportunity for those who need it.
