Which payment methods are supported by Antom?

Antom supports over 300+ global payment methods, including digital wallets, credit cards, online banking, mobile banking apps, and bank transfers. You can activate the ones your customers use most, dependent on the markets you're targeting, via a single integration.

How does smart routing work in Antom Payment Orchestration?

By default, APO enables smart routing to prioritise payment success rates. The smart routing engine uses big data and AI to evaluate every transaction in real time and select the best acquirer based on issuer health, BIN-level historical success, country, amount and merchant rules. Merchants can layer custom routing strategies on top for full control.

What is the difference between payment orchestration and a payment gateway?

A payment gateway captures a transaction and passes it to a single processor or acquirer. Payment orchestration manages multiple gateways, acquirers and payment methods simultaneously, routes each transaction to the best channel, and provides one dashboard for reporting and reconciliation. Merchants with two or more acquirers, multiple regions or scale ambitions typically need orchestration.

What is Antom Tokenised Payment?

Tokenized payment offers a fast, secure, and convenient way for customers to make one-time or recurring payments, with automatic deduction of funds from a buyer's account after a one-time authorisation. The buyer signs a payment agreement once, and the merchant can then debit for future purchases without re-authentication, subject to payment method, scheme and regulatory requirements. Supports web, mobile web (WAP) and native app, major APAC e-wallets and international card schemes.

How does Antom Tokenised Payment work technically?

Three steps: (1) Obtain authorisation — call consult API for an authorisation URL and present to the buyer; (2) Get a payment token — call applyToken for a long-validity token; (3) Make a payment — call pay with productCode AGREEMENT_PAYMENT and the stored token. What is the difference between Tokenised Payment and Subscription Payment?

What is Antom Subscription Payment?

Antom Subscription Payment is a recurring payment model that lets merchants accept periodic automatic payments after a one-time buyer authorisation. Buyers can change subscription services, cancel renewals or terminate immediately. It supports membership subscriptions, physical-product subscriptions and regular recharge models on web, mobile web and app.

How does Antom handle failed subscription renewals?

Antom initiates each renewal 24 hours before the billing cycle starts. If a deduction fails, Antom automatically retries for up to 24 hours until the payment succeeds or the retry window ends. The merchant receives an asynchronous notification with the final status.

Does Antom handle 3D Secure for first-time subscription authorisation?

Yes. First authorisation uses 3D Secure 2 / wallet authentication for PSD2 SCA; subsequent renewals run as Merchant-Initiated Transactions without re-authentication in eligible scenarios.

How do I register and complete onboarding with Antom?

Once you’ve verified eligibility and prepared your required documents, the next steps to register and complete your onboarding are:
1. Contact Antom to initiate the onboarding process.
2. Submit the required documents via the Antom portal or by email.
3. KYC and compliance review:
  • Antom will review your documents and verify your business.
  • This includes anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) checks.
4. Account approval
  • Once approved. you will receive login credentials to access the Antom Merchant Portal.

You’ll need to add a valid bank account in your Antom Dashboard. Settlement frequency, currencies, and account details can all be configured once your account is activated.

  • Choose settlement frequency (e.g., daily, weekly, or monthly).
