Meet the founder
I’m Michelle, founder of Authentik Artistry
In 2016, I had eyelash extensions applied for the first time, and they all fell off in 24 hours. It was like it was meant to be. I thought, “I could probably do a better job at this,” so I took my first course. Then, I realized it was a lot more intricate than I had originally imagined, and I knew I would need more training to make it work.
I continued it on the side until I lost my job, which was a blessing in disguise because it allowed me to pursue my true passion as my full-time career. I took new classes every six months and built my business into what it is today: a fully booked eyelash, brow, and training studio with long-standing clients who are like family.
What That Turned Into
Once I was fully in the industry, I didn’t stop at one certification or one system. I kept training, testing techniques, and paying attention to what actually held up on real clients. Over time, that led me into lash lifts, brow services, and eventually teaching other artists who were struggling with the same things I had questions about early on.
I’ve spent the last decade working hands-on with clients, completing over 25 certifications, and continuing my education well past the basics. I’ve trained artists in person and online and introduced advanced lash lift education to my region, all while maintaining an active client studio.
The way I work hasn’t changed much over the years. I take my time, adjust to the individual, and focus on results that grow out cleanly. That same approach is what I bring into both client services and professional training.
