I have an older sister who seems to take pleasure in reminding me of my past mistakes and bring up that I have male friends. She threatens to tell my husband even though he already knows they're just friends. She likes calling me names and acting like I don't do anything correctly. I've been ignoring her for the most part. Is there any breathing exercises or something else that would help me. Thank you.

Introduce Yourself
I’m going to be honest. I don’t have any friends outside of social media. I’ve been checking out apps/websites such as MeetUp. However, even with my part time work schedule and health conditions, time and money is still limited. So I try to remind myself to use my free time creativity. I’m a musician, songwriter, singer, and I also dabble in creative writing and visual arts. My companion is my cockatiel bird Chipper who is very sweet, even at 21 years of age. I make MS Word pictures featuring him. Since this is my first time posting, hopefully I can add a photo of what I created of him in it.

Mental Well-Being
ZEN PROVERB: If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will avoid 100 days of sorrow. MEANING: Anger is temporary, but its damage can last a long time. Choosing patience for just one moment can protect us from weeks maybe months of regret. Calm today saves sorrow tomorrow. Buddhism

There are people out there who just naturally smile just thinking about you. There are friends whose days feel much brighter simply because you exist in their lives. You are far more important and valued than you realize. @TheMindfulWalk

I did something incredibly hard -- building loving relationships despite C-PTSD. The relationships are there, but the felt sense of safety & warmth isn't landing in my body. I'm in survival mode.

KIND BUT TOUGH I forgive, but I remember what I’ve learned. I’m kind, but not a doormat. I make peace, but I protect my boundaries. I love deeply, but I prioritize self-respect. I’m gracious, but I don’t enable toxic behaviour. I listen, but I stand up for myself. I’m patient, but I won’t be gaslit or disrespected. I speak with empathy, but I am clear and assertive. I care, but I won’t neglect my own needs. I’m compassionate, but I won’t be manipulated. @BuddhismPageFB
