Welcome Walkers!
You are registering to join a WGW Plett hosted by Nicholas Gey van Pittius
WGW or Will’s Green Walks are simple a weekly walks (always at Friday 5:55am) where you can connect with like minded and hearted humans over a walk in nature.
It started in Cape Town on Lion's Head in 2023 by Will Green (hence the name).
WGW Plett is our first sister walk!
We have had a few global pop-up walks in South Korea, USA x2, Guatemala, Mauritius, Australia and even the thriving metropolis of De Aar in the Northern Cape!
This is not a guided hike, networking event or fitness program. It is just a consistent community walk & talk with great people.
Be warned, one walk is the equivalent of 5 coffees meetings.
If you are ever in Cape Town you can join us every Friday 5:55am at Lion's Head.

We will walk about 5-7km along Robberg Beach, take a group pic and return back to where we started.
There is absolutely no agenda.
If you can, we will grab a coffee at La Cafétéria Plett afterwards https://maps.app.goo.gl/Q2ggBK8EKJUJ6j389
We do like to support local entrepreneurs!
What to Bring:
- You, a friend.
- Comfortable walking shoes or barefoot (we will be walking on the beach after all).
- Suitable clothing for the weather (yes we do walk in winter and the rain).
- A towel if you are feeling brave for a quick dip in the sea afterwards (you are responsible for your own safety).
- Water & money for a coffee afterwards.
After you submit this form, you will receive a calendar invite and a link to that weeks WhatsApp group, if you are joining us please accept them.
All logistics, updates, reminders, pictures and contacts for the walk will be shared in that WhatsApp group (No Whatsapp group spam, we promise).
We look forward to hosting you!

P.S. The Origin Story of WGW Plett
"I joined a Will Green Walk some time ago, and something about the simplicity of it stayed with me. Not the networking or the outcomes - just the act of showing up, walking and creating space to slow down.
That experience is what led me to bring the walk to Plettenberg Bay. Not to reinvent it, but to honour the original intention and allow it to live here in a way that fits this place.
The walk is a shared experience, but a personal one. You walk alongside others, yet the real connection is inward. There’s no pressure to talk and no expectations to perform, just movement, fresh air and time away from the noise.
Here in Plett, the walk takes place along the beach - open, grounding and accessible. For those who know the area, places like Robberg Nature Reserve capture the same feeling of space and perspective.
People join from different seasons of life, but the invitation is the same. Step outside. Breathe. Walk. Let the week settle.
All that’s required is a willingness to show up."
