The CERTIFIED OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (COMS)® is an assessment examination of the foundational knowledge in the field of operations management by the Center for Professional Advancement and Continuing Education, Inc. (CPACE Philippines). The examination is designed to assess the fundamental knowledge that an operations management practitioner must possess.

The COMS® assessment examination is a 2-hour exam, with 120 multiple-choice questions. Examinees who passed and obtained formal certification of their COMS™ designation have the right to promote themselves to Certified Operations Management Specialist (COMS)®. 

WHO ARE QUALIFIED?

To qualify for the COMS® certification, you need to fit into any of the following categories:

Category AGraduates or graduating students of Operations Management, Customs Administration, Entrepreneurship, or any BSBA courses aligned with operations management.

Category BGraduates or graduate school students of a Master's in Business Administration with Entrepreneurship or Operations Management specializations, a Master of Science in Management, or any Master's programs related to operations management.

Category C - Faculty members teaching Operations Management, Supply Chain, Customs Administration, Entrepreneurship, or any other operations management-related subjects. 

Category D - Any 4-year degree with at least 1 year of working experience in the field of operations management, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain. Employees, officers, managers, supervisors, department heads, or any related positions in the field of operations management.
