Shiemara Hogarth is a Jamaica-born, Brampton-based textile and craft artist whose creative practice explores belonging, memory, and storytelling through weaving, embroidery, digital printing, and sculpture. Shiemara is in residence at the South Fletcher’s Branch Library from June to September 2026. Join her to learn about craft traditions and materials while building a community of practice together this summer.
The Brampton Artist in Residence is a co-presentation by the Brampton Arts Organization (BAO) and Brampton Library.
