Occupational & Physical Therapy
The Desert Mountain Special Education Local Plan Area (DMSELPA), as part of the CAHELP offers specialized Occupational and Physical Therapy (OT/PT) services through a dedicated department of skilled therapy professionals. This team includes:
- OT/PT Supervisors
- Occupational Therapists (OTs)
- Physical Therapists (PTs)
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
Occupational and Physical Therapists help students with special needs meaningfully participate in their educational experience. Whether it’s playing on the playground, writing in class, or taking part in school activities, these services build skills that lead to greater independence and success in learning.
