      Centropa Summer Academy 2026

      From 2-10 July, Centropa and 60 teachers from 16 countries will walk the streets of Vienna and Prague, take an interactive tour of Terezin, learn from scholars, visit historic sites of the 20th century, and design cross-cultural projects to bring together students from the US, Europe, and Israel.       Project highlight: IMAGINE

      IMAGINE is a continuation of the HerStories-project. Supported by the EU, the project explores the biographies of 14 Jewish women who lived through the 20th century and aims to support and raise awareness for the EU Strategy on combating antisemitism.       10 Polish Cities, 10 Jewish Stories

      The “10 Polish Cities, 10 Jewish Stories” exhibition is permanently hosted by the Galicia Jewish Museum in Kraków. 

      The biographies paint a vivid picture of Jewish life in Poland: some of the men and women featured grew up in large cities, while others came from shtetls - small towns with significant Jewish populations.

      iMemory

      The iMemory project brings together 70 teenagers from Germany, Serbia, Ukraine, Poland and Croatia to explore local Jewish remembrance culture and its significance today through creative formats and encounters.

      A graphic novel about two Jewish girls, who grew up in Rivne, now part of Ukraine.
