Since its inception in 2020, artists who connect with the East Colfax Corridor have collaborated to form its visual boundary. In 2021, the neighborhood received a prestigious Colorado Creative Industry designation and in 2025 formed Aurora, Colorado’s Downtown Development Authority. Our mission to represent the diversity of our neighborhood in its art and artist selection process, ensures the spirit of this fest will continue to thrive for generations to come.

First Friday - September 4th
A district-wide celebration featuring live music, freshly finished murals,
and all the energy of ACAD's First Friday, amplified.
Park for free within the district, grab a Colfax Canvas BINGO card at any participating location, and explore East Colfax as art, music, and community come together for one big day.
August 29 – September 4, muralists will be painting live throughout the district. Watch the walls transform all week, then celebrate the finished work with us at the party on
September 4, from 4 - 11pm.
