Welcome to Glow Games at Westbriar Elementary School, where 6th-grade math teacher Alissa Roth transforms end-of-the-week SOL prep into an unforgettable, glowing experience! Ms. Roth utilized grant funding over the last four years to outfit her classroom with blacklights, blackout curtains, and vibrant glowing materials. Students rotate through five exciting, neon-lit stations (Tic-Tac-Toe, Cornhole, Jenga, Connect 4, and Heads Up) while tackling essential math concepts like integer operations, solving equations, word problems, and math vocabulary. It is a colorful, high-energy day filled with games and music that makes reviewing past lessons both incredibly fun and highly memorable for everyone involved!
