Join us in celebrating 40 Under Forty honoree Kim Gajewski 13PH! 🎉 After earning her degree from Emory's Rollins School of Public Health, she went on to work with the CDC on international Ebola response in West Africa, biosecurity capacity building in Ethiopia, and cybersecurity policy at the Department of Homeland Security — even serving on the White House National Security Council on election security and the COVID-19 response. Now at Google, Gajewski brings curiosity, leadership, and a passion for solving problems at the intersection of public health, security, and technology.

When Diana Blair was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer, she turned to the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University for lifesaving care. In gratitude and to honor her husband, she established the Diana and Bryan Blair Research Professorship for Women’s Health, supporting research that advances earlier detection and more effective treatments for gynecologic diseases. Inspired by the innovative research accomplished by the first Blair Professor, Alicia Smith, MD, Blair deepened her commitment by elevating the fund to a Distinguished Professorship. She then later funded the Diana Blair Gynecology Oncology Fellowship and has named Emory as the beneficiary of her IRA to educate the next generation of Gynecologic Oncologists. Diana is providing sustained support for cancer researchers and physicians and continued progress in women’s health for years to come. Learn how you can support Emory at giftplanning.emory.edu.
