The Student Revolving Loan Fund

The Student Revolving Loan Fund (SRLF) is a Government of Barbados institution that provides affordable education financing to eligible Barbadians for local, regional and international study. Established in 1977 under the Student Revolving Loan Fund Act, the Fund was created to support areas of national priority and has since evolved into a self financing vehicle that helps students and professionals pursue academic, technical and vocational programmes at all levels. Student Revolving Loan Fund +1 SRLF now delivers education financing through three main product families. The Pinnacle Student Loan is designed for school leavers and tertiary students who need up to one hundred and twenty five thousand dollars for undergraduate or graduate study, with terms that ease the pressure while they are in school. The Parent Plus suite supports parents and guardians who want to take the lead in funding their children’s education, whether covering full fees or bridging shortfalls. The EduFlex suite focuses on flexible, shorter term solutions for back to school expenses, skills training and professional development, including online and part time study.
