Which stream would you rather watch? Same person, Same thumbnail, Different title. Title A: “WATCH ME LIVE!” Title B: “THIS OBS setting ruins streams!” Title A just tells you what to do. Title B creates curiosity. Titles shape expectations, spark emotion, and decide whether someone clicks or scrolls. If you’re streaming, spend as much time on the title as you do on the stream itself.

Content creators don’t all stream for the same reason. - Some want to build a community. - Some want to host webinars or coaching sessions. - Some want to stream gaming, events, or live shopping. What they all need is the same thing: a place they actually control. WpStream lets you go live directly on your own website, keep your audience close, and grow without depending on a platform’s rules. Who would you stream for? https://wpstream.net/ #livestreaming #contentcreators #wordpress #creatoreconomy #wpstream

One of the biggest myths in live streaming is that you need to stream on the biggest platforms to grow your audience. Platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and others ARE powerful for discovery, BUT discovery and ownership are two very different things. When you build your streaming presence on your own website, you gain something platforms cannot give you: control. Many creators are starting to realize that the strongest communities are built in spaces where the creator controls the environment and the relationship with their viewers.

I want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made this year’s Web Agency Summit such a resounding success. 🔥 🤘 Year SIX, can you believe it?! What started as a way to bring the community together when WordCamp Asia got cancelled due to Covid has grown into something so much bigger: a global, connected, and insanely supportive community. One attendee shared, “This was the closest thing to WordCamp I’ve ever experienced online,” and that sentiment really stuck with me. I even noticed a few people say they took PTO just to attend the entire event. 🤯 Would love to know, did you enjoy the shorter session format? I also want to give a HUGE thank you to our incredible sponsors because without you this simply wouldn’t exist. Your support is what makes this all possible 🙌 Dollie, Duda, CloudFest Americas, HostArmada, Bluehost, UltaHost, hosting.com, FocusWP, DocsBot, Melapress, Brizy, InMotion Hosting, Brizy, Termageddon, WpStream And to our speakers, both the amazing new voices and the familiar faces who come back year after year, you are the heart of this event. I’ve been reading feedback from the community today, and the value you brought is truly appreciated. So many ‘golden nuggs.’ (Will tag in the comments because I'll hit a tag limit on LinkedIn. 😂 ) And of course, to the team behind the scenes, the hours, the quality of the work, the pressure leading up to this, you absolutely crushed it. Enormously proud of you. 🙂 Ryan Barnes, Zachery Mimbs, Séyí Adéyẹmí, Radost Dacheva, Simeon Kiprov, David Nesbitt, Ali Yahya, Fox, Pete, Stuart Hopkins Doing my best to tag as many of you as possible below, you all deserve the spotlight. Here’s to keeping the momentum going and continuing to build something extraordinary, together. If you're missing let me know! Year 6 is in the books. See you for Year 7? We’re going to go even bigger! And if you missed anything or want to relive it, don’t worry, replays are available: https://lnkd.in/gvrcwtq9 BTW I love this pic of me, Stephanie Hudson, Andrew Palmer. I love hosting this thing with them every year. Took a few tries to find one where one of us wasn't making a face. 😂

People often say that audiences no longer have the attention span for webinars. The same thing was said when short videos exploded on YouTube. But look at the data. Shorts drive discovery, while long-form videos still dominate watch time, loyalty, and monetization. The biggest creators on the platform continue to rely on longer content because that is where deeper engagement and real audience relationships are built. Webinars work the same. People will ABSOLUTELY watch longer content when it delivers real value, clear outcomes, and authentic expertise. Time is precious - so make your content precious. This is also why many creators are starting to host webinars on their own platforms. When the session is recorded, it becomes replay content, part of a growing library, and an asset that continues to work long after the live session ends. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/d8iVAAea
