We're CachyOS — a team of passionate developers building a performance-optimized Linux distribution based on Arch Linux. Every package we ship is rebuilt with modern CPU-specific optimizations (x86-64-v3, x86-64-v4, and Zen4), full LTO, and where it counts, PGO and BOLT profiling. Our custom-tuned kernels offer multiple scheduler options — from EEVDF to BORE and sched-ext — so your system feels fast whether you're gaming, coding, or working with AI tools.But CachyOS is more than just a fast OS. We believe Arch Linux's power shouldn't require a steep learning curve. That's why we provide a polished graphical installer, automatic hardware detection, and out-of-the-box support for desktop environments like KDE Plasma, GNOME, COSMIC, Hyprland, and more — plus a dedicated Handheld Edition for devices like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally.Everything we build is free and open source.
