Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who signed up after our last post. 💜
Quick update: the study is moving along, and we've already seen very different experiences during steroid tapering. Some participants have successfully tapered to 0 mg, while others have unfortunately flared. Being able to capture samples during both of these experiences is exactly why we're doing this research.
For anyone who missed our previous post, we're running an IRB-approved at-home study to understand why some people can taper steroids successfully while others flare. Our goal is to identify biomarkers that could one day help predict safer tapering and earlier signs of flare.
The study is still open:
Thank you again for helping move lupus research forward. I'll keep sharing updates as the study progresses.
Team ImYoo!

We're conducting an at-home research study to understand why some people can reduce steroids successfully while others flare. The goal is to help develop tools for safer tapering in the future.
You can now join and participate from the comfort of your home! Link to study:
We're here for you if you have any questions💜
Meet the Tasso device - the at-home collection tool that makes drawing blood completely painless. It uses a tiny microcapillary needle and a gentle vacuum suction to do all the work, usually without you feeling a thing.
Say goodbye to the pinch and hello to easy at-home testing. 🙌 Have you ever tried one of these?
You deserve a support system that actually lightens the load. 🍃
Even with great support at home, having an expert in your corner can take the pressure off you and your loved ones. The California Lupus Foundation’s Health Navigator program is a free, safe resource designed to help you navigate the moments that aren't always easy.
It’s about growing your network with people who truly understand, so you never have to carry the weight alone.

A lot of people imagine research as hospital visits and clinic appointments, so I thought it could be interesting to show what one of our at-home study kits actually looks like.
We include everything needed for collection and return shipping - from the capillary blood device and instructions to temperature loggers and prepaid overnight labels. The goal is to make participation possible from home, especially during real-life moments like flares or treatment changes that are usually missed in traditional research settings.
Happy to answer questions about how the process works.💪
It's lupus awareness month!
You shouldn't have to navigate the "craziness" of the medical system alone.
We are proud to partner with the California Lupus Foundation to support their Health Navigator program!
From prepping for appointments to handling insurance bills or just having a safe space to vent, this program is here to ensure you have an expert in your corner.
It's about turning research into a team effort, so you always have the support you deserve!
