Preventing a lifetime of loss
The impact of pregnancy and baby loss can last a lifetime. Our research is here to change that. But we can’t do this alone. We need your support to fund the research and care families rely on.
Right now, women and birthing people must go through the devastation of 3 miscarriages before they are routinely offered care that could help to prevent the loss of another baby. We believe everyone has the right to support after every loss and our Graded Model of Miscarriage Care provides this.

What we do
Research projects
Tommy’s is the leading charity funding pregnancy research in the UK. With your support, we’re able to carry out more than £2million worth of ground-breaking research every year.
Pregnancy resources
We’re here to support you throughout your pregnancy - from planning to birth and beyond. Browse our free tools, calculators and resources to help you have a healthy, happy pregnancy.
Baby loss stories
We’re here for anyone who’s lost a baby, whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or any other reason. Thank you to the parents who are helping to break the silence.
Join the Tommy's Rainbow Quest this summer!
Wherever you are, on any day in August, get the little ones in your life all dressed up in their most colourful clothes to take on the Rainbow Quest. They’ll be sponsored to walk, scoot or ride a distance of your choice, while taking on this very special quest to find all 7 colours of the rainbow. For every colour you spot, add a sticker to their special Rainbow Quest sticker chart.
Have fun this summer with family and friends and help fund vital research and support to make pregnancy safer for everyone, so more babies come home.

Ways to get involved
—Shema TariqAfter the loss of our much longed for baby, Altair, at 20 weeks, we were put in touch with the Tommy’s research centre in Manchester. Professor Alex Heazell immediately gave us hope. Under his care and guidance, we welcomed our rainbow baby, Faris, safe and sound in December 2018.
