The UKIHCA has developed and defined robust professional standards, career progression, rigorous course approvals processes and criteria for approving high-quality training Schools and course providers.

  • UKIHCA-Approved Training Schools and course providers may use a 'UKIHCA Approved Course' logo to demonstrate the course has met our rigorous standards.
  • Approved courses have an opportunity to be listed on the UKIHCA website, showcasing their course and its Scope of Practice, capturing the pipeline of potential students visiting our website.
  • The UKIHCA provides a range of membership options, offering a comprehensive range of benefits and support to Students and Full members, equipping them to translate their education into safe, professional, viable and thriving health and wellness coaching practices.

Applying for UKIHCA Health Coaching Programme Approval 


UKIHCA invites schools and course providers seeking approval to make an initial assessment of their course curriculum against our current professional standards and approvals criteria. An approval or approval renewal process can be active for a period of 6 months from payment of your deposit at which point you will be prompted to conclude or withdraw from the process.
