A Red Flag Warning is in effect for the West Central Mountains from 1PM through 7PM MDT today. The combination of dry and windy conditions and dry fuels will allow for rapid fire spread from any new spark.

A few of this evening's stronger storms will be capable of producing wind gusts up to 60 mph. Some storms may also produce large hail over far eastern areas.

There is a marginal risk of severe storms over eastern areas on Wednesday afternoon and early evening. Some storms over central areas will produce gusty and erratic winds, as well as blowing dust, with little or no rain reaching the surface.
