    Iowa State’s Amanda Vestri placed 3rd in the 5k at US Juniors, one spot away from making Team USA while her teammate, Cailie Logue, won the race. The next day, Cailie won the 3k, hit the standard, and told Amanda she was scratching the 5k so they could both make the team together

    Over the weekend, Valarie Allman broke the American Record in the Discus with a toss of 70.15 meters (230-2)! It's a lifetime best for her by 3 meters and also the first time an American woman has broken the 70 meter mark! Story: buff.ly/3gs16k7
