Nature - our life support system - is in trouble. But it’s not too late to act. Please sign the #RewildingNation Charter, calling for Scotland to become the world’s first Rewilding Nation - offering hope for nature, climate and people. More: bit.ly/43WwKzL

A single 400-year-old ancient oak produces 234,000 litres of oxygen a year while soaking up carbon dioxide, and can support more than 2,000 species of bird, insect, fungus, and lichen. Nature is amazing - we need more of it, not less. RT if you agree 🌳

There are many many many reasons for protecting nature - including the fact that it is amazing! As this stunning boomerang-shaped murmuration - of what are probably knots or sandpipers - shows.

We think these bat bricks for new builds are a great example of how innovation and creativity can help wildlife!

Dear councils, 97% of UK meadows are gone. So please: if you have wildflowers like ox-eye daisies on roadverges and in public spaces, don't spray them with weedkiller or over-mow them. Let's give pollinating insects like bees and butterflies a chance. 🐝

This is brilliant. We need lots more green spaces boosting biodiversity and benefitting pollinating insects like this inspiring wildflower meadow at @Kings_College, Cambridge. Let’s bring nature back 🐝

Dear @BBCNews, despite @BBC’s top nature progs, BBC online rarely reports on the nature crisis. You even ignored today’s huge #RestoreNatureNow March (though you ran stories on Taylor Swift & ‘world’s ugliest dog’). Please fix your biodiversity news blind spot, for all our sakes.
