    Beaverton, THANK YOU! Today I was sworn in as Beaverton’s first female Mayor. A new day has come for our city, and change is on the horizon. I’m excited to get to work making the changes we promised. This is all possible because of your support. Thank you.

    I stand with Mayors Against Illegal Guns @everytown on National Gun Violence Awareness Day. I hear from lots of families about gun violence, we most act and not leave this problem for our children to solve. I #wearorange because our children deserve better!

    What did my first day as mayor look like? @onepeloton ride, breakfast with Tinker Bell, signed my first proclamation, Co-Emceed @ShemiaForOregon swearing in with @FelicitaM_PDX, met with staff and ended with watching @jules4westlinn be sworn in as West Linn’s Mayor #MyMayorLife
