    Marie Curie, Polish-born French physicist, was born #OTD in 1867. She was the 1st woman to win a Nobel Prize, the 1st person and only woman to win twice and the only person to win a Nobel Prize in different scientific fields, the Nobel Prize in Physics 1903 and Chemistry in 1911.

    Paul Dirac, theoretical physicist, was born #OTD in 1902. One of the most significant physicists of the 20th century, he made fundamental contributions to the development of quantum mechanics and quantum electrodynamics. He shared the 1933 Nobel Prize in Physics with Schrödinger.
