The Agilisys EHCP Tool has been co-developed with local authorities to ensure that all Education, Health and Care Plans generated meet statutory deadlines and are fully compliant with SEND Code of Practice requirements. Each plan includes structured sections aligned with DfE guidance and local templates.
Ensuring high quality and accuracy of EHCP drafts
The tool uses AI to analyse and extract relevant information from professional reports and automatically generate citations for every section. Caseworkers have full control over editing, and built-in quality assurance features flag missing or weak sections -supporting consistency, compliance and improved outcomes.
Empowering, not replacing caseworkers
The tool is designed to support-not replace the SEND professionals. It drafts a high-quality first version of an EHCP, allowing caseworkers to focus on refining and personalising the plan using their expertise. Final review and submission always rest with the practitioner.
Is original sensitive data used for the training, testing and development of the tool?
To configure the tool for the trial phase, 5 sample data sets will be required from the council. Agilisys have suitably trained and security checked staff available to anonymise these data sets if the council are in agreement to provide non anonymised data. The council will be notified to review the anonymised data sets and if no feedback is received within 48 hours, the data will be shared with developers to start the configuration. Alternatively, the council can anonymise the data sets before sharing with Agilisys Transform and further guidance can be provided for this. No original data will be used at any stage for the configuration, testing or development of the tool. The relationship between Agilisys and the council, regarding the aforementioned data sets shall be governed by the Agilisys Data Sharing Terms which are linked here: Agilisys Data Sharing Terms.
