So I decided to do away with the old site that was using SolidJS in favor of a more traditional static site generator– Hugo.

In terms of picking a theme, I originally picked rhazdon’s hello-friend-ng, but vetoed that after realizing how bare it was. I’d need to modify the theme directly to do like.. everything.

The theme I decided to go with after some thinking (more like looking) is Terminal: panr/hugo-theme-terminal

I still ended up modifying the theme itself (LOL) but that’s purely restricted to footer.html (as of now. no promises!)
