Makeomatic · Vancouver, BC
You run the business.
We run the tools.
We pick, set up, and manage the AI and automation tools small BC businesses need — so you don't have to.
Sound familiar?
"Every tool vendor promises the world. Half of them don't even talk to each other."
"I'm spending Saturdays doing admin I can't bill for."
"I know there's a better way. I don't have time to evaluate twenty apps to find it."
What you get
- 1
A written audit of how you actually run your business
A 2-hour interview and an honest look at where your hours and money go.
- 2
A shortlist of 3–5 tools picked for your situation
Not 20 options and a spreadsheet. The ones that matter, with clear reasons why.
- 3
Setup, integration, and data migration
I do the work in your accounts. You keep ownership of everything.
- 4
A 2-hour training session for you and your staff
Hands-on, not a slide deck. Everyone leaves knowing how to use the tools.
- 5
A plain-English runbook
Every tool, every workflow, who to call when something breaks. Your team isn't stuck when I'm not around.
Who this is for
Owner-operated BC businesses with 1–10 people who know there's a better way but don't have time to find it.

Why Makeomatic
Makeomatic is a small Vancouver consultancy that picks, sets up, and runs the AI and SaaS tools small BC businesses actually need. No custom software. No vendor lock-in. Just the right tools, configured properly, in your accounts.
We bring senior engineering judgment to a simpler problem: most small businesses don't need a developer — they need someone who can pick the right tools, wire them together, and stay around when something breaks.
Based in Vancouver, BC. Insured. BC PIPA-aware. The tools and the data are always yours.
Questions
Do you build custom software? +
No. That's the whole point. I configure and connect proven tools. No code for you to maintain, no app for me to support.
What if I already use some of these tools? +
The audit covers what you have and fills the gaps. Sometimes the best move is keeping what works and fixing one broken connection.
Is there a contract? +
The Audit and Setup are one-time engagements. The Operator retainer is month-to-month after a 30-day minimum. No lock-in.
Who owns the tools and the data? +
You do. Always. I set things up in your accounts under your name. If we stop working together, nothing changes for you.
What about privacy and patient data? +
I only recommend vendors that are PIPEDA / PHIPA / BC PIPA compliant. Data handling is documented in the runbook.
Are you local? +
Vancouver-based. In-person for the Lower Mainland, remote elsewhere in BC and Canada.
What if something breaks at 11pm? +
Operator retainer clients get next-business-day response. Not a 3am pager, and I say so upfront.
Do I need to be technical? +
No. If you were, you wouldn't need me.
