What does the typical website design process look like?

How do you approach research before designing a website?
We start by asking key questions:
- What’s your product about?
- What’s the goal of this website?
- Who are your users?
Then we test the product ourselves to understand its core value, key user segments, and sales triggers. We also research your competitors: what they’re doing well, where you stand out, and how to position your product more clearly.
Finally, we walk you through our findings to ensure we're aligned before we start designing.
Do you help with website copy and content?
Yes, absolutely. Based on our research and understanding of your product, we generate draft content with the help of AI and our own strategic input.
You’ll get a solid first version that you can either approve or tweak. If you’re not ready to provide content from day one, that’s totally fine. We’ll move forward without blocking on that.
How do I know we’ll be happy with the final result?
First, we only ship what we’re proud to put our name on. We care deeply about long-term partnerships, and we often go the extra mile to make sure your site delivers and that our logo in the footer stands for something.
Second, every asset goes through internal review by our art director or other senior specialist before you ever see it. If we show something, we stand behind it and we can always explain why it works.
How long does it take to build a website?
It depends on the feedback cycle. If you're responsive (within 24h), a homepage can be ready in about 2-3 weeks.
With slower communication, the full process may stretch to 4-5 weeks. We work fast, especially if you have a deadline, but we don’t compromise quality.
How is communication structured?
Once we start, we’ll create a shared Slack channel with everyone involved from both sides. You’ll also have a dedicated project manager who will keep things on track and be your main point of contact.
What time zones do you cover?
Our team is distributed across Europe and the US. We easily cover all time zones from CET to PST.
