AN AMAZING JOURNEY

WiserSites history

It all began with a desire to help non-profits and local organizations, and over the next few decades, grew to become a trusted resource for small businesses and corporate marketing teams.

1997

The beginning

Jason Wiser began studying SEO and digital marketing in the early 90s to fundraise for local churches and nonprofit organizations. At a time when pre-built, template websites were standard, Jason cut his teeth on custom development using custom HTML, Dreamweaver MX, and WordPress 1.0.

2005

Building the team

Jason hired his first team members – developer Greg Asatryan and administrator Kati Negley – to begin building websites for small businesses under the name Webination Station. The team continued to grow adding developers, designers, and project managers over the next few years.

2014

WiserSites is formed

In 2014, Webination Station reformed under a new name – WiserSites. Under this identity, the company hired new team members with skillsets in design, web development, and business development in order to offer more services to its expanding clientele. The company developed its signature “One Thing” philosophy and “Wiser Way” development process that it still uses today.

2016

And grows and grows…

Within two years, WiserSites rapidly expanded to begin offering services such as foundational SEO, domain hosting, business consulting, site migration, and e-commerce development, transforming the organization from a boutique website builder into a full-service web development agency with a global presence in both clientele and staff.

2020

The Acronyms

In 2020, WiserSites went all in on corporate B2B websites. Expanding skills in API integration for ERP, CRM, PIM systems and more. WiserSites no longer focused on just the website, but turned attention to helping clients leverage their website for full system integration. Lead generation automation, integration into partnerships with dealers and representative for our manufacturing clients, ASA and support for parts, warranties, and order status.

2025

Hand in hand

Today, the WiserSites team continues to build better websites in wiser ways, making WiserSites an industry leader in branding and web development for corporate entities. Our main focus is partnership with our clients. Working together to better understand your customers, their needs and goals.
