Purchase options and add-ons
Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Supergirl, Animal Man, Stargirl, Equinox, and Alanna and Alan Strange—together they are the newly formed super-team, the Justice League United.
During the mission that brought them together, the JLU saved a young alien named Ultra. Created by a mad scientist named Byth, Ultra is a combination of many different alien genes, and thus, a being of incalculable power.
While he’s currently just a small boy, Ultra is possibly the most dangerous creature alive. And now, the Legion of Super-Heroes—a team of super-powered champions from the 31st century—have traveled back to our time to ensure that Ultra never reaches his catastrophic potential—even if it means killing him!
It's a tale of time travel, teamwork and travesty as writer Jeff Lemire (GREEN ARROW, ANIMAL MAN) and artist Neil Edwards (FOREVER EVIL: A.R.G.U.S.) bring together two teams of heroes from across centuries in JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED VOLUME 2: THE INFINITUS SAGA.
Collects JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED #7-10, JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED ANNUAL #1, JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED: FUTURES END #1 and JUSTICE LEAGUE: FUTURES END #1.

Review
“Great fun. Highly recommended.” –IGN
“Lemire works hard to ground the space opera in intimate team dynamics, even as he plumbs the range of DC history to reinvent concepts. This team features more cool, competent heroines than just about any other superhero-team title around.”—BOOKLIST

I have no idea what im talking about.
Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2016I'll admit the only reason I even picked up this series was for Animal Man, but I've grown to love each of the characters and the dynamic they have as a team. Justice Leagues were good and plenty after the Trinity War but that came to an end pretty quick, so getting the chance to see another Justice League, a league with a new dynamic, new characters, and a whole new story is pretty sweet.

Decent reading for New 52
Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2016I bought the book because let's face it, a team up between the Justice League (whatever version) and the Legion of Super Heroes just harkens back to the 1960s to 1980s and the annual cross over events. It's either gonna be a winner or a loser.
This was a winner. The story telling was reasonable as was the story itself. It was paced well. The two part story that opens the collection is definitely the weaker of the content but pretty good. The real attraction is the Legion cross-over story, with an impending crisis, a conflict and then working together for a resolution. A bit formulaic but it worked reasonably well.

probably the last time anyone will ever see the original Legion again
Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2019Was an okay story, mostly memorable for being what is probably the last appearance of the original Legion of Superheroes. Given trends of the past years and the previews of the coming reboot of the Legion, this is probably the last time you'll ever see the originals again.

Why include the Legion of Super Heroes if you don't care about them?
Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2017The last Legion of Super Heroes series had an unfulfilling ending with several major characters dead, half the team still stranded in the 21st century and one character's 'original sin' to blame. I reluctantly picked up this story hoping it would fill in some of the gaps. It doesn't. It doesn't even make much sense and no one really acts in character.
The book starts with an alternate history for the Justice League United which had nothing to do with the rest of the story and is quickly forgotten. When the actual story starts we see the Legion's future at risk from a new bad guy so they cleverly launch a plan to go back in time a thousand years and murder the guy as an infant. Which is of course completely in character for them. Super Heroes love time travel infanticide.
Stuff happens and over the course of it dead Legionnaires just show up, making me wonder if anyone actually read the book before writing, drawing or editing this one. The Legion Lost team, stranded in the present and believed dead just show up and other than a hug in the background never get a real reunion with their teammates.
All of this would be fine if it wasn't the last appearance of the LSH and just makes me wonder why author Jeff Lemire included them since he obviously didn't care about the characters or their story.
So I recommend giving this a pass.

Oh well...
Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2016I bought this primarily for the appearance of the Legion of Super-Heroes. While there were a few good character moments (ironically, with the members of the JLU), the appearance of the team from the future was hardly necessary, and story itself was a huge waste of time. Save your money.

One of the better Future's End stories.
Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2016A solid Justice League story but nothing earth shattering. I like the Legion of Super-Heroes but the story would have probably have been better served if he focused on fewer members. It's a lot for a reader to even juggle. I thought the Future's End story was better. It was more tightly focused and featured some of DC's heavyweight villains.
