Flash back 2013 and forward 2014

Image

2013 Accomplishment
  • finally got my new home (after 1 year ex-seller struggled with the legal issue)
  • commencing my studies in MBA (completed 5 subject out of 15 in 2013, 10 more to go in 2014-2016)
  • cook meal for family
  • do a lot of readings in morning LRT ride.
  • first oversea trip with husband and children (hope to have at least once in a year)
- Hacks (sweets / sugars I had addicted for a year plus). Replaced by having Green Tea.
- Fast food (KFC and McDonald). Replaced by home-cooked fried chicken and potato fries.
  • Adapting myself in new career (Business Planner) in new environment at age of mid 30s
- suffered and realised that I was over-pressurize by myself try to be perfect, efficient and know-everything about my job...(by Sept). Learn to accept imperfection in myself and others and not to over-stressed myself too much achieving 100% in family, work, and studies.

Learn to see things differently.
Let your thoughts and actions change.
Allow your views of past and present
to slowly rearrange.
Let your spirit start anew;
become focused and aware
of the moments and the blessings
that surround you everywhere!

Hong Kong (more photos)

Image
Photo taken at MTR (Mass Transit Rail) Mong Kok.

Hong Kong Goldfish Market is near Flower Market and Bird Market. Hong Kong people believe having an aquarium with some goldfish ensures good luck. This is a Feng Shui practice.
Location: Tung Choi Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon

Our 6 night stayed in Dragon Hostel which opposite the Ladies' Market (Tung Choi Street)

My first visit to Disneyland was 10 years back when I was still single
here I am again to this whimsical land this year (2013) as an identity of a mother for two

Visited to Paris Disneyland (1st time) during Summer time, as the Daylight are appeared to be longer,
got more play hours..

For Hong Kong Disneyland, we choose visiting at year end (near to Winter time) as the weather are cool and breezy.

Hong Kong ~ Chocolate Rain

Image

my travel to Hong Kong early of December.

One of the destination is Chocolate Rain (by Prudence Mak), one of my must-go-place in HK.

Story behind the doll :

Using the imagery of a little girl in each and every pieces of her collection, Prudence Mak created - Fatina. Fatina is a doll who comes to life as a special little girl with the power to dream up big dreams. She always keep her eyes closed to feel the world with her heart. She believes she is able to slowly help mend our dying planet. One dream at a time. "

Her shop is appeared to be so inspired and magical for me :-
