Melvin, also known as CODEZERO, has been around the electronic scene since the mid 90s but it wasn’t until 2000 when he started as a Drum & Bass DJ -- quickly becoming a name to be recognized among the puertorrican local DJ circuit.

His weekly shows gave birth to many local DJs/Producers and introduced some of the best of the best Drum & Bass DJs from all over the world to the local crowd. On his almost 10 year journey, has shared the stage with talents like Andy C, Sonic & Silver, Loxy, Ed Rush & Optical, Fabio & Grooverider, Bryan Gee, Crissy Criss, DJ SS, Adam F and Goldie to name a few.

In 2007, he first discovered the sounds of Dubstep, becoming the first DJ in the island to rinse this new sound, and in late 2008 he joined forces with MOSHRUM and created PRDC (Puerto Rico Dubstep Cru).

CODEZERO is one of the very few DJs that has represented Puerto Rico outside its boundaries, performing in the USA, as well as in many cities in Europe.
