They had sold out of the donation Blesser before I had a chance to donate.

Well... imagine how shocked and surprised I was when one arrived!!!

Of course, Matt had donated and gotten me one!

What's amazing is that Perfect Effect went through all the effort to create a custom card with the person who ordered as the "human partner".

That's pretty damn cool.

I'm a bit scared to put some of the pieces together. This is especially true for the tiny gun parts. My Ratbat broke within seconds of trying to assemble him and I'd rather not have a repeat.

I love that Takara, for the most part, always tries to come up with a logical explanation of their repaints.

While yes, they may be thin explanations, they at least aren't usually obscene repaints like Hasbro often does.

Doing a redeco of Hot Rod in the energy in-between state after he grabbed the Matrix of Leadership and before he became Rodimus Prime is great.

The detail of the mold itself really shines through, especially inside the car itself.

I need to figure out a way to really capture these translucent figures well in photos. The light box doesn't cut it for the depth of field I want and the details I want to capture.

I have yet to come across an $11 Generations Wreck-Gar but I've now got a $40 resculpt/redeco. Funny how that works.

I have to admit. He's really quite nice.

I despise the G1 Wreck-Gar mold and refuse to allow one into the collection. My excitement when I saw that they'd come up with a modern one was pretty great. I mean, it has been pretty hard to do motorcycles that make decent bots.

It really is quite nice. Hastak has managed to hide the mass and parts in alt mode and come up with a totally appropriate and decent robot.

Now yes, they did an adequate job with that original movie Arcee even through the style is a visual abomination in the eyes of the Lord.

And let's face it... those 2nd movie Arcee's are pure shit.

I really need to figure what's going on with my SLR. I'm having a helluva time with my focusing on all my lenses. I'm pretty certain I've ruled out user error.

It is sad when the $200 point and shoot sometimes works better than the $1500 setup.

Nice. Very nice.

In some ways it is not quite up to the level of Fansproject's original upgrade kit but for the price it is worth it to give Classics Cliffjumper a new look.

I've been unhappy with the original since they repainted Bumblebee so this is a welcome cheap change.

There's this extra plastic mess on his windshield that is really noticeable in alt mode.

I've see this kind of shit with Hasbro figures for years but I rarely if ever see it with a Takara version.

Wow! What a perfect Meister!

Hmmm... I just noticed something... he's actually "Autobot Jazz" on the Takara packaging! That's odd. Surprised I didn't realize he's not labeled Meister this time around. Oh well... he's staying Meister to me just so I remember he's the import version.

He's really quite beautiful with all the detail I usually expect from the Takara releases.
