About the challenge

Calling all young Computer Scientists! Join UNity Hacks, a global virtual hackathon, to code a project that addresses a United Nation Sustainable Development Goal. This can include an app, website, game, AI, or anything else you would like it to be – use your creativity!

No previous coding experience is needed. We welcome all students aged 13 - 18 years – both beginners and experts alike – to join us from July 9th, 2025 to July 3rd, 2025 for UNity Hacks 2024!

About us

We are a Society of Women Engineers x Women in STEM club based in San Diego, California. Our club's mission is to inspire young girls to explore the fields of STEM and pursue their aspirations. We place an emphasis on fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment in STEM.

Keeping this in mind, this hackathon is open to all students from the ages of 13-18 to participate! We highly encourage everyone to join, regardless of your past experience with Computer Science. UNity Hacks is a great chance to make connections and find new opportunities!
