Wow! I knew I loved an original Parker Jotter, however, this XL is PHENOMENAL. A suave, classic, smooth pen with class! I have small hands (size small in gloves) which worried me a little about the XL, but as soon as I wrapped my fingers around it and wrote my first line- it felt like a friend finally coming home. This will replace my Zebra F-301s for regular notation. Phenomenal feel and worth the price.

I have many hobbies and interests. The pinnacle of them all is my odd obsession with finding the perfect pen. After years... yes. you read that right. I said, "years." After years of searching for the perfect pen, I have come to the realization that pens are as much tools as hammer, screwdriver and plier. I have my workhorse pen. The Pentel Energel with aluminum body. I can, and have written whole novels with it. The gold standard is of course the Pilot G2 gel pen. The granddaddy of them all is the Bic rollerball pen. But this rollerball pen is the absolute perfect pen for note taking. It is elegant and has a heft that keeps it in your hand as you write. plus it's just so comfortable with a professional feel and look that is hard to top. It is a pen to impress. I highly recommend you getting a couple for everyday use as well as for a desktop pen that sets a tone that is refined.

First impressions so far? I think it is still great. I do wish the quality could be a bit better. Also less expensive. If the pen was built a bit better, it would sell quick. As someone who has large hands, it is good.

It feels.expensive and writes beautiful for a ball point

I just recently purchased monteverde blue/black gel ink in bold. They work for Parker G2 pens.

The ink upgrades the Xl for those who do not want ballpoint.

I am.impressed and anyone who loves the regular Parker Jotter but wished it was bigger, you will love the Xl Parker Jotter.

If you love the Jotter, I'll bet you'll love the Jotter XL. Slightly bigger than the original but not too big. For me, the size is perfect. I like it better than the Jotter, although compactness is not a feature I need. It is not heavy but not light as well, feels nice in the hand and writes very well(keep in mind the right ink will drastically improve this feature). The top end, like all jotters can be interpreted as a bit thin but the increased size makes up for that in the XL and I think that is more subjective feature. Overall, it is a great EDC pen, one of which I use more than others.

Loved it. The color is beautiful and the ballpoint is perfect if you need to write very fast.

I love the look and feel of Parker pens, however, they always seemed a bit small for my hands. The XL version is the perfect size for me, and practical enough for EDC. The XL comes in really nice colors, you will definitely find one that suits your style. If you can find them on sale, these are a steal for the reliability and feel of a premium pen that doesn’t break the bank. Highly recommended.

Love the colour and the XL size

After decades of switching to gel pens, got my hand on using jotter again - and noticed the quality and superb experience with using parker. I wish Parker would also consider vintage colours with their inks, too.

You're getting everything you would from the regular jotter but in a larger version. It's a very nice-looking and fair-priced pen that would perfectly make for a small gift. One issue I have is that the internal of the pen is made of plastic, which makes it feel somewhat cheap if you unscrew the top, but otherwise a great and reliable pen.
