From the Studio Arhoj Print Department

Riso Works

As part of our newest adventure, Study, we've officially opened our Print Department. The first project to come out of this new space? Riso Works.

Each risograph print is designed, sketched, painted or doodled in-house by our founder Anders, then scanned or digitally transferred over to our Riso machine.

Invented in 1980s Japan, the risography process is part screen print and part copy machine. The eco-friendly printing process uses a rice based paper as a screen where colorful soy inks are pushed through and onto the paper, one color at a time. The process allows for unique characteristics to each print that include color variations, layering and production marks.

Visit our Stores

In the center of Copenhagen, just steps away from the famous Rundetårn, we blow glass, throw pots and glaze a lot of Ghosts.

We’re excited to now welcome you to Study - our new satellite location at Nørregade 7, where you'll find our full team of potters, glass blowers, our print department, and a gallery-style shop with exclusive pieces.

Visitors of both locations are able to watch our team at work. You're welcome to ask the team questions and, if you're in the mood, take home a piece of the action.
