I realized that I haven't been sketching as much as I should, so there you go. A big apple.

I felt like I needed to paint something that has nothing to do with whatever I'm doing at school now, so I sat down for these quick sketches. 

Golden Compass

 I took a color theory class this past term, where we had to design the world of the Golden Compass book. I chose to move the story to colorful India, to give it a new flavor. Here are the characters, plus some of the development sketches that preceded them.

Semi study

A quick color comp for the Viscomm5 class final. It's a reinterpretation of an N C Wyeth painting that I'm in the process of painting in acrylics.
