The Walk for Truth is a powerful act of truth-telling, traversing Country and passing through sites of deep cultural and historical significance. This year, it began at Melbourne Parliament on 19 April and will conclude at Parliament House in Canberra on 27 May. This year’s walk is again led by proud Kerrupmara/Gunditjmara man and Yoorrook Commissioner Travis Lovett. Equity Trustees supports the Walk in 2026 through our Equity & Empowerment granting program, and many of Equity Trustees own staff are involved in walking, volunteering, and learning along the way. There are a number of ways everyone can support the initiative this year: 1. Walk: Check out the website homepage for the route and daily legs and walk a leg or two, or turn out to cheer on those who are making the journey. 2.
